About the 2023 Vanuatu Tsunami

On November 22, 2023 at 04:47 UTC, a Mw 6.7 earthquake off the coast of Maewo island (Republic of Vanuatu) triggered a small tsunami, with wave height measured to be ~3cm at a tide gauge in Port-Olry (Republic of Vanuatu). Tsunami-generated ionospheric signatures can be seen, for example, in the link between station KIRI and satellites C006G, GPS57, and E103, or station LAUT and satellites C020G, GPS76, and E103 between the hours of 0530 and 0600 UTC.
